Top 13 Premium Vetiver Fragrances

02nd, June 2020 by Anna Gooss

Niche fragrances are unique. Once you try them you’ll never get them mixed up with other perfumes again. Niche fragrance producers pay more attention to their ingredients and whole composition. Moreover they have a very small range and niche perfumes don’t need to use famous people to sell their scents, the name, reputation, quality and uniqueness is enough.

I do love niche perfumes with Vetiver, Oud, Ambra and Rose scents.

And in this article I want to introduce The Vetiver scent

Vetiver fragrance

It is woody, smokey and dry if described in three words. It calms you down and relaxes and belongs to the aphrodisiac group of perfumes. It is difficult to describe in words but Vetiver fragrances smell luxuriously-complicated and deep, people around you will react to your smell as if it smells of magic. Niche perfumes with Vetiver open up on your body gradually, it has top, middle and base notes which let Vetiver mix and react differently. If you have never used a Vetiver from a niche perfume brand you have to try it on your wrist for at least 1- 2 hours to check how this smell will open up on your skin.

This helps you to understand how Vetiver works on your skin and whether you like it or not.

How to use and keep the perfumes:

First you have to be careful when you use niche perfumes for the first time, because they have a more complex scent and they’re more intense than designer fragrances.

  1. Don’t use perfume on top of your clothes. Because it can stick to cloth and turn it yellow if the clothes are white or a light color.
  2. Don’t rub your wrist after putting on perfume. Never! Let it dry by itself. The main reason is because the structure can be damaged by rubbing. The notes will not open as they’re supposed to.
  3. If you have a light allergic reaction to perfume, such as redness or itchiness, you can use Vaseline as a layer. Put a bit of vaseline on your wrist or neck and then put on the perfume. Vaseline will not let perfume reach your skin and will spread the smell around as intended. In addition, using Vaseline will help your perfume stay on your skin much longer.
  4. Never keep your niche perfumes in a bathroom, next to the radiator, on a window and or in direct sun lights. They should only be stored in a dark, dry cabinet, which will keep your perfume fresh for the rest of your life.
