Accessories this Summer 2021 have mainly Massive and Noticeable sizes: necklaces, bracelets, belts and even eyewear are obviously big.
If it has something to do with wearing a mask which is quite big and shifting attention to another item then we need to have accessories that are much bigger or at least the same size as the mask. And, designers have created lots of options which we can use in our outfits.
Key fashion trends in sunglasses and prescription glasses
1. Sunglasses. Sunnies this summer are going to be trendy in 2 types: the first one is a bit “Men in Black”: solid color with no gradient and decorative elements, all in black and streamlined. And another one is more Retro style: Round, Orthogonal and Cat-eye as if from the 70s.

2. There are also two kinds of prescription glasses frames that are trendy this year:
- Invisible and Slim style frames: Silver or gold with a slim metal frame and transparent plastic but in a big size. This trend wants us to look like we aren’t even wearing glasses. Purity and minimalism.
- Massive and Retro: As if you took them from your grandma or grandpa from the 70s. Plastic or metal and massive and old-fashioned are hot and trendy.

3. Wide belts
Fashion is cyclical and wide belts are trendy again. Those which we can wear on top of shirts and jackets and with high waisted jeans. Last year slim belts and rope belts were fashionable and some designers still have them in this season. It is possible to wear both: A wide and slim belt together in one outfit.

4. Chain round the waist
This trend will be transmitted to the next year too. Slim gold and silver chains are going to be super trendy. Paco Rabane and Zimmerman presented some on their runways but I think we will see them in other brands too.
5. Big earrings
These earrings are massive and some in gold metal made it into a Jacquemus and Bottega Veneta shows.

6. Huge necklaces
were presented in the Victoria Beckham and Alexandre McQueen shows, and almost all of the looks were with massive chains with a ring in the middle.

7. Massive bracelets were shown in the Alberta Ferretti show, which was impossible to forget.
8. Baseball cap in the Celine show.
9. The final but not the last trend is fur flats and shoes with wide heels and chains.
